If you thought that the ‘Royal We’ by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan is about the fairy-tale romance of Kate Middleton and Prince William, you are not entirely wrong. Except that the authors have introduced reality into it.
The authors have recreated the Royal romance ‘inspired’ by the Kate-William story leading up to the wedding. It is a fictional account and is fast paced, juicy and filled with unexpected twists and turns, the Royal We is perfect for a weekend read. Though a light read, the book makes a serious point about the life of a Royal – dealing with the media, being surrounded by sycophants, the inability to be oneself in public, the need to be on guard always, and the constant scrutiny by everyone around you.
If you are a fan of the British Royals or are just looking for a juicy read, this book is the one for you.
